Who Decides?
Andrew Romanoff is asking the right question: Who should decide who should become Colorado’s next US Senator – everyday Coloradoans or the Democratic Senatorial Chamber of Commerce?
Corporate DINOs realized a long time ago that Colorado’s Gov. Frackenlooper couldn’t cut the mustard as a presidential candidate. Yes, he was their kind’a DINO. Well connected to corporate interest; oil and gas exploitation in particular. His forked tongue spoke to both clean air and water, while he eagerly cut deals to fill Colorado’s groundwater with toxic chemicals. He went so far as to accuse progressive Democrats who champion Medicare for ALL as Stalinist. Like his Grabber Of Pussy Party friends across the aisle, he would have us believe that Stalin’s repressive and dictatorial state controlled economy should be equated with Democratic Social Equity.
This week the DSCC (Democratic Senatorial Chamber of Commerce) was successful and Gov. Frackenlooper, announced that he had only been joking when he said he didn’t want to be a US Senator and that he was really joking when he had said that he didn’t want to be a US Senator because he would not be good at it. And now that everyone had had a good laugh at that joke (particularly his opponents in the US Presidential campaign), it was time to go for the position he doesn’t really want and knows he won’t be very good at – US Senator from Colorado. After all, Komrade Cory Gardner is polling 10 points behind anyone and everyone, including the former Mayor of East Tin Cup, Pete Smythe, who, by the way has been dead since Y2K.
Now Corporate America and its Dark PAC Money has a candidate in Colorado to fund, just in case Komrade Cory has in fact alienated suburban women with his endorsement for president of the guy who brags about grabbing female genitals and enjoys cheating upon his wife with porn stars and cavorting with men who traffic in underage girls.
The choice is clear. Will Coloradoan choose Andrew Romanoff, who refuses to take PAC contributions and is committed to moving America Forward towards a Greener Energy grid and recognition that healthcare is not an industry dealing in products and commodities that can be sold to the highest bidder, but rather a basic human right, which must be made available to everyone sans profits to be pocketed by insurance industry CEOs.
Now is the time that Colorado’s unaffiliated and Democratic primary voters must Stand Up for Truth! Stand Up for Justice! Stand Up for what is Right, Fair and Honorable! We must reject the candidates accepting PAC money, who will owe their votes to the givers of dark money from everywhere but Colorado and choose Andrew Romanoff. The candidate committed to working for Coloradoans from every walk of life, every community across our diverse state.
